About the Job
This is a brilliant opportunity for a bright, proactive Onboarding Administrator to join a busy team for an initial 2 month assignment to carry out all pre-employment checks. You’ll play an important part in keeping onboarding activity moving, making sure new starters have everything in place for a smooth and compliant start. It would particularly suit someone organised, switched-on and happy to pick things up quickly. The team is looking for someone who will take ownership rather than wait to be asked – if something needs chasing, checking or completing, you’ll be on it!
- Coordinating ALL pre-employment screening, including references, right-to-work checks and background checks
- Managing vetting activity through to final approval and sign-off
- Keeping pre-employment checks and onboarding systems accurate and fully up to date
- Proactively chasing outstanding references, checks and documentation to prevent delays
- Supporting the wider recruitment team with day-to-day administration and candidate onboarding
- Monitoring new starter compliance and ensuring mandatory training is completed within the required timescales
- Stepping in to manage urgent activity and ensuring nothing gets missed when priorities change
- Providing responsive administrative support across a busy recruitment function
About the Successful Applicant
You’ll be a bright, proactive and highly organised onboarding administrator who enjoys taking ownership and getting things done. Onboarding and pre-employment checks experience is essential. You’ll be confident using systems, comfortable chasing outstanding information and able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
