About the Job
A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the finance team in Oxfordshire. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, with a particular focus on preparing trial balances and performing account reconciliations.
Duties
- Preparing monthly trial balances and ensuring accuracy across ledgers
- Performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
- Collaborating with other finance team members to ensure accurate financial records
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a strong understanding of financial reporting. Previous experience preparing trial balances and conducting reconciliations is essential, along with a detail-oriented approach and solid Excel skills.
