About the Job

This is a senior workforce planning and analytics role with responsibility for shaping strategic workforce decisions through data, forecasting and insight.

You will lead workforce planning activity, develop analytical capability and support senior stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations around workforce priorities, investment and organisational capability.

Duties will include

  • Leading the development and annual delivery of the organisation’s strategic workforce plan.
  • Creating workforce supply and demand forecasts to support long-term planning.
  • Carrying out workforce capability reviews and identifying strategic people risks.
  • Developing scenario models to support future workforce requirements.
  • Presenting workforce recommendations and insights to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Supporting workforce prioritisation and investment decisions using robust evidence and analysis.
  • Leading the development of workforce dashboards, reporting and people analytics.
  • Producing trend analysis, forecasts and research to support organisational decision-making.
  • Improving workforce data quality, reporting standards and analytical processes.
  • Coordinating the implementation and embedding of workforce operating models.
  • Developing governance processes, procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Managing implementation risks, actions and interdependencies across workforce initiatives.
  • Coordinating workforce planning governance forums and steering groups.
  • Supporting workforce capability development and interventions arising from workforce planning.
  • Analysing complex data sets using a range of quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Using Excel to manipulate, interrogate and present workforce information.
  • Translating workforce data into clear, practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Providing specialist workforce planning and people analytics advice across the organisation.
  • About the Successful Applicant

You will have significant experience leading strategic workforce planning within a complex organisation, alongside strong people analytics and workforce modelling capability.

You will be confident using advanced Excel and analysing complex datasets, with experience of forecasting, scenario planning, governance and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

Experience with Power BI would be advantageous.

A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative or business-related discipline is required.
