Wade Macdonald are currently working with a well-established international business who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Finance Manager looking to make an immediate impact or an ambitious finance professional ready to develop into a leadership role.
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the finance department while ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining effective financial controls. Working closely with senior management, you will take responsibility for the purchase and sales ledgers and support strategic financial decision-making.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the Accounts Department and managing a small finance team.
- Managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Supervising the Sales Ledger, billing, and credit control processes.
- Liaising with senior management and external accountants.
- Supervising the processing of both sales and purchase invoices.
- Resolving account queries and investigating financial discrepancies.
- Producing and analysing profit and loss reports, aged debtor reports, budgets, and payroll information.
- Preparing regular financial reports and providing updates to the senior management team.
The successful applicant will have proven experience supervising a finance team, along with knowledge of Sage 50, and be confident using Microsoft Excel. An AAT qualification or equivalent accounting experience is preferred. You will be highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
