People & Culture M&A Partner - International

£50,000-£60,000

Hybrid (3 days office with flexibility after probation). This also includes international travel.

I am partnered with a company that acquires, manages, and grows vertical market businesses. You’ll report to their Head of HR and work in a lean, high-trust environment where your impact will be visible.

My client is looking for a People & Culture M&A Partner to lead the people-side of mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to post-deal integration. This job will also require you to travel across Eastern Europe.

  • Lead full M&A cycles from a People & Culture perspective – including due diligence, risk assessment, onboarding, and cultural integration.
  • Partner with newly acquired businesses to align HR practices, policies, and people strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and operational leaders across the group.
  • Advise at BP/HR Advisor level on sensitive casework and structural changes, acting as a trusted consultant.
  • Use your data and spreadsheet fluency to interpret and communicate people metrics, risks, and opportunities clearly.
  • Travel regularly across Eastern Europe and Scandinavia to meet with stakeholders and forge strong, personal connections.

Proven experience in M&A due diligence in an international environment.

Excellent attention to detail, with confidence handling complex HR data.

A strong understanding of employment law and people-related risk in M&A contexts.

A hands-on, pragmatic style with a willingness to travel and engage at all levels.

Languages (especially Eastern European or Scandinavian) would be a distinct advantage.
