About the Job
This is a hands-on, project-focused role within the purchase ledger team, ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems, and contributing to operational efficiency. You\\\’ll play a key part in helping the department streamline its systems, support the wider finance team, and ensure the smooth running of supplier payments.
Duties will include:
- Reconciling supplier statements across the group and bringing accounts up to date
- Managing supplier queries via phone and email, building positive working relationships
- Supporting the PO platform by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements
- Assisting in process development and the implementation of best practices
- Collaborating across the team and supporting junior colleagues as needed
- Handling issue resolution with minimal supervision and ensuring long-term solutions
