Looking for a temp role where you can get stuck in straight away and make a real difference? This is a brilliant opportunity for a bright, proactive Recruitment Administrator to join a busy team for an initial 2 to 3 month assignment. You’ll play an important part in keeping recruitment and onboarding activity moving, making sure new starters have everything in place for a smooth and compliant start. It would particularly suit someone organised, switched-on and happy to pick things up quickly. The team is looking for someone who will take ownership rather than wait to be asked – if something needs chasing, checking or completing, you’ll be on it!

  • Coordinating pre-employment screening, including references, right-to-work checks and background checks
  • Supporting the wider recruitment team with day-to-day administration and candidate onboarding
  • Monitoring new starter compliance and ensuring mandatory training is completed within the required timescales
  • Managing vetting activity through to final approval and sign-off
  • Keeping recruitment and onboarding systems accurate and fully up to date
  • Proactively chasing outstanding references, checks and documentation to prevent delays
  • Stepping in to manage urgent activity and ensuring nothing gets missed when priorities change
  • Providing responsive administrative support across a busy recruitment function

About the Successful Applicant

You’ll be a bright, proactive and highly organised administrator who enjoys taking ownership and getting things done. Recruitment, HR, onboarding or compliance experience would be helpful, although a positive attitude and strong administration skills are equally important. You’ll be confident using systems, comfortable chasing outstanding information and able to juggle competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
