About the Job
This is a great chance to join a busy and expanding procurement team. You will support day-to-day admin activity across a wide range of tasks—updating procurement documents, managing supplier details, and coordinating low to mid-value contracts. With changes in procurement law underway, it’s an ideal time to get involved. A varied admin role for someone organised, proactive, and ready to get stuck in.
Duties will include:
- Supporting tender processes, including publishing procurement notices and updating contract documentation
- Managing procurement inbox queries and coordinating procurement dates, notices, and supplier information
- Providing procurement admin support for a broad range of goods and services - from stationery, through to car fleet and IT equipment etc.
- Drafting and preparing supplier letters, reports, contract documentation, and maintaining electronic filing
- Processing supplier set-ups, purchase requisitions, and helping manage the contract register
- Assisting with supplier checks and contributing to a busy and friendly team environment
About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous UK office administration experience, be bright, adaptable and detail-oriented, with a good eye for drafting and reading documents. Procurement admin experience would be a bonus but is not essential. A strong grasp of written English is required, and a degree in Law, Politics, Business or English would be helpful but not essential. You’ll need to show initiative, flexibility and a positive, can-do approach to support a busy team through a period of change.
