We are partnering with a leading engineering and construction organisation near Reading to recruit an experienced Lead Finance Business Partner. Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving financial performance and delivering insight across major programmes within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders and Executive Directors across the business
  • Deliver financial planning, reporting, analysis and governance across major programmes
  • Provide commercial insight and constructive challenge to support strategic decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives
  • Support business planning, budgeting and long-term financial performance
  • Lead and develop finance teams within a matrix environment

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience within a senior finance business partnering and leadership role
  • Strong budgeting, financial management and reporting experience within large organisations
  • Experience working within defence, engineering, manufacturing or regulated environments (essential)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven experience supporting complex programmes and business change initiatives
  • Professional finance qualification or equivalent experience
