About the Job
This is a key interim opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to support a large-scale transformation and reform programme within a fast-paced and complex environment. Working closely with HR leadership and operational managers, you will play a central role in supporting organisational change, complex employee relations activity and service transformation initiatives.
- Providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Supporting transformation, restructuring and organisational change projects, including consultations, job redesign and potential redundancies
- Advising managers through legislative and operational changes impacting service delivery
- Supporting the implementation of new policies, processes and reform-related initiatives
- Building management confidence and providing practical HR support within a challenging operational environment
- Managing multiple interconnected HR projects simultaneously within a fast-paced setting
- Utilising HR systems, including Agresso, to maintain accurate employee data and reporting
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders, unions and wider HR teams to support successful change outcomes
About the Successful Applicant
You will be an experienced HR professional with strong ER and organisational change experience, ideally gained within social care, children’s services, local authority or wider public sector settings. You will have experience supporting transformation or reform programmes linked to legislative or operational change and be confident operating independently within a complex environment. Experience within unionised environments and supporting managers through sensitive change processes would be highly advantageous. We are particularly interested in candidates who understand the practical impact of social care reform and can quickly build credibility with managers and stakeholders.
