This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified Commercial Accountant to join a well-structured finance team in a role with strong commercial exposure. You will play a key part in providing financial insight across a portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting operational teams with meaningful financial analysis that helps guide business performance.
Duties will include:
- Taking ownership of elements of the Contract Valuation Reporting (CVR) cycle
- Reviewing financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency in project reporting
- Preparing monthly management information and performance analysis
- Providing commercial insight to support operational and financial decision-making
- Monitoring project costs, budgets, and financial movements
- Supporting forecasting activities and maintaining financial visibility across projects
- Partnering with internal teams to review financial performance and trends
- Contributing to improvements in financial processes and reporting practices
- Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc commercial analysis
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability. They will be comfortable working in a commercially focused environment and partnering with non-finance stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data to support business decisions will be key to success in the role.
