About the Job
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Advisor to join the team on an initial 6-month FTC, with a significant focus on employee relations and with potential for other opportunities arising. You’ll work closely with People Partners and managers across the organisation, managing a busy ER caseload and providing confident, practical advice in line with employment law and internal policies.
- Managing a varied and high-volume ER caseload, including sickness absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Advising and coaching managers through ER processes and ensuring a fair and consistent approach
- Acting as a key point of contact for People queries
- Supporting employee wellbeing and engagement initiatives
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation, GDPR, equality and safeguarding requirements
- Supporting wider People projects, including performance, appraisal, training and employee engagement initiatives
About the Successful Applicant
You’ll be an experienced HR professional with at least 4 years' experience within HR and employee relations. You’ll have strong employment law knowledge and be confident handling disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management matters. You’ll be inquisitive, tenacious and comfortable digging into the detail to establish the facts, while remaining pragmatic and solutions-focused.
