About the Job
Reporting into the Head of Finance, this role sits at the heart of the finance team, providing commercial and financial insight to operational stakeholders. You will take ownership of management accounting for a portfolio of contracts, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and clear financial commentary to support performance and decision-making.
Duties
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple contracts
- Acting as the primary finance contact for regional operational managers
- Analysing trading results, investigating variances, and preparing clear commentary
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining financial controls
- Coordinating budget preparation and uploading approved budgets into the finance system
- Reviewing weekly financial information, including stock, cash, accruals and prepayments
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and site-based teams to address financial queries
- Supporting payment runs and remittance processes
About the Successful Applicant
You will be a part-qualified or finalist Management Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders. You will be organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
