About the Job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a friendly finance team on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

Duties will include

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Preparing payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on schedule.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Responding to supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
  • Posting financial transactions to the accounting system.
  • Assisting with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
  • Maintaining organised financial records and supporting the wider finance team with administrative tasks where required.
  • About the Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have previous accounts payable or purchase ledger experience, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.

You will be confident using finance systems and Microsoft Excel, able to prioritise your workload effectively, and possess excellent communication skills.

A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
