Wade Macdonald are currently working with a growing organisation within the Medical Devices sector who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to support their UK operations. This is a hands-on standalone generalist role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with managers and employees across the full HR lifecycle within a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This position will play a key role in delivering operational HR support across the business, with a strong focus on employee relations, HR administration, recruitment coordination and policy compliance. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with managers to ensure consistent HR processes and best practice across the organisation.
Duties will include:
- Providing guidance to managers on a range of employee relations matters including absence management, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Supporting HR processes across onboarding, offboarding and employee administration
- Preparing contracts, correspondence and HR-related documentation
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring HR systems remain accurate and up to date
- Assisting with payroll and benefits administration activities
- Coordinating recruitment activity with agencies and hiring managers
- Supporting interview scheduling, candidate communication and onboarding processes
- Assisting with the review and development of HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and internal processes
- Producing HR reports and supporting wider HR projects and initiatives
About You
You will have previous experience within a generalist HR position, with strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations processes. CIPD Level 5 qualification is required alongside excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience within an international environment would be advantageous, and additional language skills such as Mandarin or German would be beneficial.
