About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys partnering with operational teams, providing meaningful financial insight, and influencing business performance. You will work closely with senior leaders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and commercial decision-making across several business areas.

Duties will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and supporting balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing financial reporting packs and presenting performance information to senior stakeholders
  • Providing financial analysis, commentary and recommendations to support decision-making
  • Monitoring revenue and expenditure against budget, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and longer-term financial planning activities
  • Working with operational teams to improve financial understanding and accountability
  • Assisting with billing, income collection and financial controls where required
  • Contributing to year-end accounting processes and external reporting requirements
  • Providing financial information for business performance reviews and wider organisational initiatives
  • Supporting recruitment and workforce planning through budget monitoring and financial oversight
  • Assisting with finance process improvements and implementation of new ways of working
  • Providing wider support across the finance team as required

About the Successful Applicant

We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with management accounting experience and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation. You will possess excellent communication skills, advanced Excel capabilities, strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach. The ability to balance commercial awareness with robust financial control is essential.
