Wade Macdonald are currently working with a leading organisation that is part of a growing and commercially focused group who are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with strong analytical skills and a passion for data to begin their career in financial analysis. Working closely with the Finance Business Partner and reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of insightful reporting, data interpretation, and financial planning activities across the business.

Duties

  • Supporting the preparation of regular financial performance reports and dashboards
  • Assisting with analysis on key trends, variances and business drivers
  • Working with large data sets to extract, clean and interpret financial and operational information
  • Producing accurate and timely reports to aid business decision-making
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Liaising with various stakeholders across the business, including central functions and regional teams
  • Continually looking for ways to improve reporting processes and automation using Excel and BI tools

About the Successful Applicant

You will be a graduate with a degree in a numerical, finance or business-related field or someone with previous experience in a similar role looking to progress further within their career. Advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for data analysis are essential. You’ll be proactive, eager to learn, and confident in communicating with stakeholders across different teams.
