About the Job
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the finance function. This is a varied role, however the main focus is Accounts Payable and Expenses. It would be suited to an organised and detail-focused individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a busy environment.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and updating accounting systems
- Processing supplier invoices and supporting timely payment runs
- Assisting with customer invoicing and monitoring accounts receivable activities
- Reconciling financial information including bank and credit card statements
- Reviewing employee expenses in line with internal procedures
- Supporting the preparation of financial reports and documentation
- Providing administrative assistance to the wider finance team
- Assisting with additional projects and operational tasks when required
About the Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will ideally hold an AAT Level 3 or Level 4 qualification, or equivalent experience, alongside previous exposure to Sage or similar accounting software. Strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage workloads effectively are essential. You will also possess strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
