Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk – Farnborough – £14 – £16 per hour

About the Job
This position is focused on maintaining the accounts payable ledger and ensuring payments to suppliers and intercompany entities are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be working closely with departments across the business and external suppliers to uphold the organisation’s financial operations.

Duties will include:

  • Managing purchase ledger accounts across UK and European operations
  • Processing, matching, and coding high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Ensuring invoices are authorised appropriately and in line with company policy
  • Reconciling supplier statements and goods received not invoiced (GRNI)
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and handling direct debit postings
  • Preparing and submitting payment runs for approval
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Supporting monthly sustainability reporting requirements

About the Successful Applicant
You will hold a minimum of AAT Level 2 or equivalent, have strong numeracy skills, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail. You should be comfortable working independently under pressure and be confident in building strong working relationships. Experience in a manufacturing environment and working across international accounts is desirable.
