About the Job
This is a broad Finance Analyst role working within a small team will give you plenty of exposure across finance, combining regular reporting and analysis with opportunities to improve processes and provide insight to stakeholders.
Duties will include:
- Preparing regular management information, financial reports and analysis.
- Reviewing financial performance and identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning.
- Producing variance analysis and investigating movements against budget and forecast.
- Developing reports and analysis that provide greater visibility of business performance.
- Working with stakeholders to understand financial results and provide commercially useful insight.
- Supporting month-end activities and ensuring financial information is accurate and delivered on time.
- Maintaining and improving financial models, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline existing finance processes and improve reporting.
- Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required by the wider business.
About the Successful Applicant
You will have previous experience within a finance or analytical role and be confident working with financial data, Excel and reporting. You will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues. Comfortable working in a small team, you will be proactive, organised and willing to get involved across a broad range of responsibilities.
