Marketing Assistant in North East

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's LinkedIn presence, including creating and scheduling posts for both Wade and the CEO.
• Maintain the Wade website.
• Support the creation and distribution of company newsletters both internally and externally.
• Produce and report on monthly analytics and performance metrics.
• Monitor relevant industry organizations (e.g. NEPIC, ISPE) for events and opportunities.
• Organise Wade events and seasonal activities, including organising gifts and charitable donations.
• Support business development activities, including maintaining target lists, assisting with initial outreach, and tracking potential leads.
• Organise monthly team-wide meetings.
• Provide general marketing, design and administrative support, including updating staff email signatures, creating marketing materials and supporting ad hoc tasks as required.

About You

Essential:

• Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Experience using Canva (or similar design tools) to create marketing content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn in a professional context.
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks.

Desirable

• Degree (or working towards) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g. ActiveCampaign or similar).
• Basic understanding of email marketing.
• Experience analysing social media or marketing performance data.
