The Marketing Assistant is a part‑time fixed‑term contract (18 months maternity cover). The role focuses on managing our online presence, including LinkedIn and the company website, running campaigns, creating content, coordinating events, and providing marketing and design support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s LinkedIn presence, creating and scheduling posts for Wade and the CEO
- Maintain the Wade website
- Support the creation and distribution of company newsletters internally and externally
- Produce and report on monthly analytics and performance metrics
- Monitor relevant industry organisations (e.g. NEPIC, ISPE) for events and opportunities
- Organise Wade events and seasonal activities, including gifts and charitable donations
- Support business development activities, maintaining target lists, assisting outreach, and tracking leads
- Organise monthly team‑wide meetings
- Provide general marketing, design, and administrative support, including updating staff email signatures, creating marketing materials, and ad hoc tasks as required
About You
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role
- Experience using Canva (or similar design tools) to create marketing content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Comfortable using LinkedIn in a professional context
- Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Degree (or working towards) in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g. ActiveCampaign or similar)
- Basic understanding of email marketing
- Experience analysing social media or marketing performance data
