In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in helping businesses protect what matters most, while providing professional, tailored advice. Whilst working closely with internal teams, you’ll ensure every client receives transparent, compliant, and high-quality guidance.

The Role
As a Business Protection Advisor, you will be responsible for advising business clients on their protection needs, completing fact-finds, and managing policies from start to finish. You’ll maintain strong relationships with clients and proactively identify opportunities for growth, while always adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
You will advise on shareholder protection, key person cover, executive income protection, relevant life and group risk. Clients are taken on an educational journey, helping them understand the risks they face, the options available, and how protection can be used strategically to support both the business and its people.
We don’t offer price-led personal protection; instead, each solution is tailored to individual needs and requirements, with a strong focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships. You will be part of a firm that treats protection as a strategic commercial solution, not an add-on.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete business protection fact-finds accurately and responsibly.
- Collect and verify all policy documents through Waddle-approved systems.
- Provide advice and recommendations in the client’s best interest, fully documented and compliant.
- Stay up to date with CPD, regulatory requirements, and product knowledge.
- Proactively develop new business and nurture existing client relationships.
- Adhere to all compliance scripting and internal processes.
- Build employee benefits packages with business owners.
- To be able to confidently present solutions to directors and key decision makers.
- Manage renewals and long term client relationships.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the BP team and the company.
- Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner, communicating confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Deliver advice and support primarily through telephone and Microsoft Teams–based interactions.
