Our client is a well-established organisation with an important role within the UK's infrastructure and commercial landscape. Operating in a specialist and highly regulated environment, it has a diverse workforce and a strong focus on attracting, developing and retaining talented people.

As the organisation continues to evolve, it is looking to appoint a Talent Acquisition & Learning Advisor to join its People & Culture team working onsite, and play a key role in delivering an effective, candidate-focused recruitment service across the business. Reporting to the L&D Business Partner, this role also has responsibility for supporting the delivery of training programmes, monitoring effectiveness of those programmes and gathering feedback to support continuous improvement.

What the Talent Acquisition & Learning Advisor role involves:

Partner with hiring managers and the wider People & Culture team to understand recruitment requirements and agree the best approach to attracting the right talent.

Manage the stages of the recruitment process, from reviewing applications and shortlisting through to initial candidate conversations and interviews.

Keep the recruitment process moving smoothly by coordinating interviews and ensuring candidates and hiring managers are kept informed.

Support the selection process through interview feedback, references and offer discussions, helping to create a positive candidate experience throughout.

Work alongside the L&D Business Partner to help organise and deliver a range of learning programmes, workshops and development activities.

Build effective relationships with internal teams and external providers to coordinate training and development activity.

As a Talent Acquisition & Learning Advisor you will have:

Established experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with confidence in managing a full 180 recruitment cycle.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build a strong rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in recruitment and learning practices.

A self-starter and happy to work independently.

Confident to make decisions based on own judgement.

Recognise changing resourcing needs and adapt recruitment activity to support business requirements.

Previous experience in a learning & development environment would be an advantage.
