We are seeking a dynamic

Electrical Superintendent to spearhead our field construction activities.

In this critical role, you will drive project success by planning, coordinating, and supervising all field electrical operations.

You will be the backbone of our field execution, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

As a primary field liaison, you will provide strong leadership to our foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors while collaborating directly with project managers, customers, and inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership
  • Promote and enforce all company, OSHA, and customer safety requirements.
  • Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and jobsite inspections.
  • Ensure Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and other required safety documentation are completed.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Project Execution
  • Oversee daily field operations on electrical construction projects.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet customer commitments.
  • Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure proper execution.
  • Team Leadership
  • Direct and mentor foremen, electricians, and apprentices.
  • Assist with workforce planning, hiring, and training initiatives.
  • Conduct performance coaching and provide ongoing development opportunities.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive work culture.
  • Quality Control
  • Ensure all electrical installations meet NEC requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
  • Perform regular quality inspections and address deficiencies promptly.
  • Coordinate commissioning, startup, testing, and project closeout activities.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Relations
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Attend project meetings and provide status updates.
  • Resolve field issues and communicate project risks proactively.
  • Financial Accountability
  • Monitor labor productivity and project costs.
  • Assist project management with budgeting, forecasting, and change orders.
  • Identify and communicate scope changes and field impacts.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician License preferred.
  • 7+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or superintendent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical construction methods.
  • Experience managing industrial, commercial, or large‑scale electrical projects.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Industrial electrical construction.
  • Power distribution systems.
  • Medium‑voltage installations.
  • Motor controls, automation, and controls systems.
  • Multi‑site or nationwide project management experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor construction environments.
  • Ability to travel as required.
