Born in the blockchain industry, it is a critical partner to companies working across fintech and digital payments, banking, asset management, and B2B/B2C technology.

We work with pioneers of emerging industries to shape the way the world sees and understands them.

Built for the digital and decentralised age, we provide our clients with a unique blend of advisory services spanning strategic and communications consulting; reputation, issues, and risk management; and public policy and regulation.

We enable them to establish and defend their industry position as they drive digital transformation and navigate new challenges and opportunities.

Founded in 2015 with regional headquarters now in New York, Dublin, London and Singapore, Wachsman has solidified its position as a trusted advisor to some of the world’s most innovative companies, including in market entry, change management, product launches, mergers and acquisitions, corporate repositioning, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for an ambitious, highly skilled strategic communications professional to join our London hub.

As a core engine of our London team and an active contributor to our global matrix, you will act as a key account anchor, leading campaign execution, delivering flawless client work, and working seamlessly alongside our global team.

What the role involves

  • Drafting, editing, and quality-controlling client-ready strategy materials, press releases, messaging blueprints, and thought leadership that replicate the distinct narrative voice of multiple clients.
  • Planning and executing multi-channel PR campaigns in close coordination with international account pods across EMEA and the US.
  • Researching, developing, and pitching compelling angles to global tier-1, financial, and trade media to secure high-impact, consistent coverage.
  • Serving as a responsive, solutions-oriented account anchor; leading status meetings, client engagement, and assisting in senior media training sessions.
  • Continuously monitoring sector developments, competitor dynamics, and market trends to deliver actionable insights, narrative opportunities, and risk flags to clients.
  • Setting a positive tone for internal meetings, assisting Senior Consultants with workload allocation, facilitating creative team brainstorms, and mentoring junior team members.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ PR agency or in-house communications experience, with a proven track record of securing high-tier media coverage.
  • Flawless written accuracy with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong interest or experience in fintech, financial markets, crypto, Web3, or frontier technology (prior sector experience is a plus, but a hunger to master complex ecosystems is essential).
  • Demonstrated experience working as a reliable account anchor within a fast-paced environment (agency matrix experience is a distinct advantage).
  • Sharp attention to detail with high standards for consistency, process, and client-ready work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a team-first mindset and a passion for mentoring junior colleagues.
