L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor or MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction and heavy industrial industries.
You will be working closely with WHSE Manager, the Production team and Human resources and the Site Director/General Manager WHSE. You will be reporting to the Site Director.Where is the position located? This is full-time, permanent position at our office in Welshpool, WA.What will your typical day look like?Promote a high level of standard across health, safety and environmental management and adhere to safe work practices at all times.Be willing to learn and develop as a EHS ProfessionalAssist in the development and deployment of company policies, systems and programs to ensure positive EHS outcomes are reached for staff, clients and contractorsAssist in the provision of EHS training to staff on industry best practice, company requirements, legislative requirementsAssist and report on accident/incident investigations and prevention initiatives and strategiesAssist with project and facility compliance events including audits, inspections, observations and reviews.Confidence in communicating across the business, in open forums and in response to EHS related requirements.Providing written and documented KPI reports for projects and facilitiesParticipate in EHS Project and Facility Risk AssessmentsRespond to workplace, project and facility demands with clear and concise methods and a good ability to prioritise demandsBe a team player with a strong work ethic and ability to engage with all workers, in person.Be comfortable in attending construction site-based projects, facility workshops and office environments and have an understanding of the EHS related risks that may occur within.Assist in the management of EHS within projects with team membersMaintains and fosters relationships with current and potential stakeholders, in particular direct workgroups, contractors and subcontractorsWhat do we want to know about you? Cert 4 WHS with recent, relevant, EHS ExperienceExperience in implementing EHS SystemsProficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and ExcelPrepared to travel as required to meet project demands and ensure high risk activities are managed effectivelyIncident Investigation Qualification or willingness to train in techniques such as ICAMPreferredCert IV Training & Assessing or willingness to obtain credentialsAuditing experience or willingness to obtain credentialsDemonstrated ability to identify problems, analyse data, generate opinions and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.Applicants must have current working rights in Australia.
