A Division of Wabtec UK Ltd, Northampton-based firm Bearward Engineering manufactures radiators for the power generation industry and is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator within our Sales department, for maternity cover.

Role: Customer Service Administrator

Salary: £Competitive

Location: Northampton, (NN4 8HJ), (Onsite)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00am to 16:30pm, and Friday 08:00am to 15:30pm

Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time

Annual Leave: 23 days plus statutory bank holidays

Life Assurance: 4 x Salary

How will you make a difference? You will be a proactive team player, who will support the demands of the Aftermarket team in a fast-paced environment. Enhancing the service level we provide to our customers will in turn support the development of sales growth for Wabtec’s largest customers as well as new customers.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Creation of Sales / Aftermarket reports.
  • Responding to customer inquiries.
  • Creation of quotations, order input, and following the orders through to the point of dispatch.
  • Liaise with customers to check on their order status.
  • Creation of Aftermarket spares listings for existing and new customers.
  • Proactively work alongside the customer service and account management team to develop strategies to achieve increased aftermarket sales revenue.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Coordination, or as an Administrator is desirable.
  • Able to work autonomously with strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT literate.
