Job Purpose
Responsible for the maintenance of site machinery and supporting with general site maintenance
Key Responsibilities & Activities
- Responsible for ensuring your own health and safety and that of others and promoting a positive health and safety culture within the workplace
- Ensure all Health and safety obligations are met, and company policies are adhered to
- Report any safety concerns, hazard observations, accidents and incidents by the end of that shift to allow full investigation and prevent re-occurrence
- Ensure activities and associated actions and measures taken do not endanger but assist with the upkeep and maintaining the company’s ISO (9001, 14001 and 45001) standards and certification
- Carry out mechanical maintenance on site machinery and infrastructure
- Perform reactive and planned maintenance to minimise equipment downtime
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and maintenance requests
- Ensure machine safety standards are upheld and critical spares are maintained
- Supporting with equipment installation/upgrades
- General site/facilities maintenance

Job Requirements
- Normal basic working hours are 40 hours per week., Monday to Friday
- Based at Graycar Business Park, Baron Under Needwood, Burton Upon Trent
- Be prepared to travel to other sites to support business requirements
Person Specification
Background & Experience:
- Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance fitter working within a manufacturing / factory environment is preferred
- Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work
- Experience in general facilities maintenance
Qualifications/Education Required:
- FLT & IPAF License (preferred)
