This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established local business that designs, manufactures and tests industrial turbochargers used in the power generation, marine and rail traction industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Extensive travel to carry out service, repair and investigation work to our products throughout the UK and Worldwide
- Required to work in the Napier facility in Lincoln as support for training and to meet business needs if required
Qualifications:
- Recognised time served Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
Experience:
- Knowledge of turbocharger operation and medium speed diesel engines would be advantageous
Skills:
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Good timekeeping
- Good awareness of a safe working environment and duties to self and others within the company's HSE policy
- Ability to use calibrated measuring equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret
- Full drivers license and passport are essential
- Able to be the face of Napier at site with our customers and uphold Napier's standing in the industry
