Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Doncaster. Our Doncaster site supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing passenger and freight trains.

How will you make a difference?
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise our off-site freight operations. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods across our supply chain.
What will your typical day look like?
- Oversee all off-site freight operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and freight carriers.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align freight operations with business needs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
What do we want to know about you?
- Proven experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent understanding of freight regulations and documentation.
