We are seeking an experienced Configuration Engineer to join our team at the LH Group (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Burton on Trent. We support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
How will you make a difference?
To provide configuration, technical documentation, and administration engineering expertise to Wabtec UK.
What will your typical day look like?
- Create and manage technical documents and engineering data.
- Build and maintain Engineering Bills of Materials.
- Organise and release drawings and documents through our internal systems.
- Prepare a range of technical materials, including change requests, production queries, and work instructions.
- Support tender activities by preparing relevant engineering data.
- Track and update project timelines and resource estimates.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners on project progress.
What do we want to know about you?
- Ability to create and manage technical documents, drawings, and instructions.
- Ensuring accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Familiarity with engineering drawing standards and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
