Bearward Engineering is a Northampton based firm manufacturing radiators for the power generation industry.
As a member of the Core Plant department team, working on the 14:00-22:00 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for working in a manual environment. The role is to process cores (radiators) through the manufacturing production line, using hand tools, checking quality of the product during the process. PPE supplied includes safety glasses, ear protection, overalls, gloves, safety boots (and visors where relevant). You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
We are looking for a team player with a positive can-do attitude, who is practical and hands-on, has good communication skills, is willing to work flexibly, and pays attention to good housekeeping.
The job involves physical demands, including lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoists and chain/strap hoists.
