Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company in Cambridge, Ontario, offers custom design and truck-body manufacturing and upfitting of utility, service, construction, railway and other custom truck bodies. Our environmentally‑friendly truck bodies are researched, designed and customized to our customers’ satisfaction.
You will be working closely with and reporting to the Pride Bodies Controller as part of a small, efficient team in Cambridge.
As a member of the finance team for the Wayside Group within Wabtec, you will be responsible for:
- Processing vendor invoices and issuing payments
- Daily banking and credit card payments
- Answering phone calls and greeting and assisting visitors

Physical demands of the job include:
- Long periods of sitting and computer use
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
Your typical day will involve:
- Processing vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Matching/coding and ensuring proper authorization for payment of invoices
- Processing weekly cheque runs
- Monitoring vendor accounts to ensure no outstanding issues and payments are up to date
- Processing daily bank deposits and credit card payments
- Monitoring Accounts Receivable Subledger to ensure customer accounts are up to date
- Contacting customers if necessary to request payments and/or work out any issues
- Opening and distributing mail
- Answering and directing incoming calls, greeting and assisting all visitors
- General maintenance of office
- Other general and finance duties as assigned
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
Wabtec offers a comprehensive benefits plan including vacation, health, dental, and retirement. The annual salary range for this role is currently $47,600 to $63,000. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
