As a Test & Approvals Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all electronic control systems meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and regulatory compliance. You will:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure compliance with EN280 and ISO 13849.
- Perform a range of environmental and regulatory tests, including IP67, EMC, FCC, and CE marking.
- Document the full validation and approvals life cycle to meet both project and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and technical excellence.
As their Test & Approvals engineer you will ideally have experience in test and compliance engineering within industrial, mobile, or heavy‑equipment sectors or relatable.
- Strong working knowledge of EN280, ISO 13849, and functional safety principles.
- Hands‑on experience conducting IP rating tests, EMC compliance, and managing FCC approvals.
- Ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Functional Safety certification (eg, TÃœV) - highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, FMEA, and risk assessment methodologies.
