Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Creation: Utilise market and customer data to develop innovative concepts. Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) exercises to ensure designs meet client needs.
  • Electrical Design: Lead the creation of electrical designs using advanced analysis tools. Develop detailed electrical drawings, models, and schematics with CAD software.
  • Product FMEA and Testing: Define, lead, and support Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), validation, and testing programmes to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • System Integration: Ensure products are designed for manufacture (DFM) and meet performance targets. Oversee the integration of systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive engineering specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), test reports, and technical documents to support future product use.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and identify opportunities for product enhancement, driving innovation and excellence.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, particularly within new product development.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for electrical design.
  • Experience in Transformers.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with FMEA and validation testing.
  • Excellent understanding of system integration and DFM principles.
  • Ability to create detailed technical documentation and reports.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Understanding of High, medium and low voltage Circuit design - Highest 4000 Lowest 24volt DC.
