We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded purchasing professional to join a leading automotive organisation, taking ownership of supplier performance and strategic supplier relationships across a global supply chain.
Reporting to the Regional Purchasing Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring suppliers consistently deliver against Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation and Sustainability (QCDIS) targets, while driving cost reduction, managing commercial contracts, and supporting successful product launches.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing supplier performance and strategic supplier relationships.
- Leading commercial negotiations, pricing, tooling and change management activities.
- Driving cost-saving initiatives and value creation opportunities.
- Supporting new product introductions and supply chain readiness.
- Working closely with Engineering, Finance and Programme teams to deliver business objectives.
- Identifying and mitigating supplier and supply chain risks.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
