Overview
Workshop Operations Manager – Start Up / Scale Up experience required. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Perks. Location: Bristol.
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Workshop & Technical Operations Lead to oversee the technical crew and ensure the smooth running of daily operations within the client\’s workshop. This is a critical role within a fast-paced, high-growth business – ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has experience working in a scale-up or start-up setting.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and efficient working environment by implementing and maintaining robust health & safety protocols.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technical crew members to consistently meet high performance and quality standards.
- Oversee and optimise daily workshop operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with company processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to improve system reliability and identify recurring issues, feeding insights back into process improvements.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring critical components are available when needed through effective supplier relationship management.
- Drive continuous improvement across operations, drawing on your experience in agile, high-growth environments.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a similar operational or technical leadership role.
