WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a Technical Delivery Manager for an initial 6-month contract. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to be onsite 2-days per week (every Tuesday and Wednesday).
Our client is looking to implement a Source to Contract solution to support the Commercial function. This role, within the Enterprise Architecture & Tech Delivery (EATD) Team will lead on the technical delivery aspects of this programme including, but not limited to:
- Ensuring EATD technical delivery plans and RAID materials for Source to Contract are produced and managed on JIRA.
- Supporting the development of the CSM Portfolio implementation plan.
- Aligning EATD plans with functional areas and business change.
- Ensuring alignment between functional and technical design activity and supporting data, analytics and integration activity.
- Being an active member of CSM governance fora to enable informed decision making.
- Supporting the CSM Strategic Commercial team in commercial activity relating to a Source to Contract solution (as required).
- Support the production of the future delivery and service models.
Essential:
- Experience of leading a large-scale technical delivery.
- Experience of delivering Source to Contract technologies (e.g., HCM & ERP).
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience of Government Digital Services ways of working.
- Delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Good planning, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Good digital skills including proficiency in MS Office and Project Management and Agile tooling.
- Holds an Agile, APMP or Prince-2 qualification.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of MoD Functional Processes, Structures, Data and / or Systems or Corporate Service arrangements of similar complexity in the wider public or private sectors.
- Knowledge of Defence Business Services Operations.
- Managing Successful Programmes certified.
Please note, this role has been deemed by the client to fall inside of IR35. Government Security Clearance is required for this position.
