This is a hands-on senior role focused on mechanical design, FEA, product development, drawing control & technical leadership across a range of specialist fabricated & hydraulic products used in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead & manage the engineering/design department
- Oversee mechanical design, product development & FEA analysis
- Produce & review SolidWorks models, drawings & BOMs
- Manage drawing revisions, engineering changes & design standards
- Support production, quality & supplier technical issues
- Improve existing products & develop new solutions
- Mentor engineering staff & manage department priorities
- Senior mechanical design engineering background
- Experience managing engineers or design teams
- Strong SolidWorks & FEA experience
- Knowledge of fabricated, welded & structural assemblies
