  • Senior Consultant - Employee Central (BAU/AMS)
  • Role Purpose

Own and operate the steady-state landscape for Success Factors Employee Central by delivering reliable L2/L3 support, maintaining configuration health, executing controlled changes, and ensuring compliance, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction under formal SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Operations (ITIL)
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests (P1-P4) across EC.
  • Execute change requests for minor enhancements and fixes following change control.
  • Drive problem management: root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clear knowledge base, runbooks, and support SOPs.
  • Configuration and Data Stewardship
  • Maintain and adjust EC configuration: Foundation Objects, MDF objects, Business Rules, Workflows, Event Reasons, Position Management, Picklists, and Role-Based Permissions.
  • Perform data loads and mass updates using standard import templates; handle data corrections with audit traceability.
  • Ensure data quality through validations, spot checks, and reconciliation.
  • Release and Testing
  • Lead release readiness and impact assessments for Success Factors releases.
  • Own regression test planning and execution; coordinate UAT and sign-offs.
  • Validate and migrate transports/configuration across environments with appropriate documentation.
  • Integrations and Security
  • Monitor and resolve inbound/outbound integration issues with HR, payroll, and downstream systems; coordinate with middleware teams (e. g., SAP Integration Suite/CPI).
  • Maintain RBP roles, groups, and permission policies; enforce least-privilege and segregation of duties.
  • Support IAS/IPS identity and SSO-related BAU activities where applicable.
  • Compliance and Audit
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and retention policies (e. g., DRTM), audit requirements, and internal controls.
  • Provide evidence for audits, including change logs, test results, and access reviews.
  • Stakeholder and Vendor Management
  • Serve as the primary functional point of contact for HR operations and business users.
  • Provide status reporting, SLA dashboards, and improvement plans.
  • Mentor junior analysts; conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions.

  • Middleware: SAP Integration Suite/CPI; basic API knowledge
  • Identity services: IAS/IPS (SSO, user provisioning)
  • Data privacy: Data Retention Time Management (DRTM)
  • Certification: SAP Success Factors Employee Central; ITIL Foundation

Experience

  • 5-9+ years in HRIS/SAP HCM with at least 3+ years in EC-focused BAU/AMS
  • Experience operating in multi-country, multi-legal-entity environments
  • Track record of owning SLA-driven support with measurable improvements
  • Participation in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations or major rollouts is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, or related field
  • Relevant SAP certifications preferred
