Contract Details

• Contract Duration: Minimum 1 year.
• Work mode: Hybrid – 3 days/week at client office, 2 days remote.
• Location: Canary Wharf, Leeds, UK.

Required Skills

• 9+ years’ experience.
• Relevant experience in timeseries/data package.
• Education: Software Engineer.
• Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication.
• Programming: Proficient Python, functions, classes, OOP, list comprehensions, generators, error handling.
• Virtual environments and package management (pip, venv).
• Data manipulation & analysis: Pandas, NumPy, optional polars; data cleaning, missing value handling, grouping, merging, pivoting, aggregation, SQL.
• Software engineering best practices: Git, modular code, unit testing (pytest), docstrings, linters, formatters.
• Plotly Dash: customizing with Plotly Graph Objects, creating dashboards, callbacks, layouts, components, REST APIs. (Plotly experience a plus.)
• Teams may choose to elevate to Dash during engagement if proficient in prior skills.
