About The Role
Due to our recent growth, we are looking for highly organised and proactive Legal Secretaries (2 roles) to support our Contested Estates, Litigation and Criminal Law teams. You will be supported by an experienced team and play a key role in providing high-quality administrative and procedural support. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- File and matter management from opening to completion (electronic and physical)
- Diary management, appointments and client communications
- Comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Contested Estates, Litigation and some Criminal matters
- Preparation and formatting of legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting with billing and debtor management
- Transcribing dictation
- General administrative support as required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary OR other professional services support roles which translate into transferrable skills and qualities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple files and competing priorities
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and client-focused oriented approach
- Highly organised, reliable and team-oriented
- Experience with online Court registries
- Experience with LEAP is highly regarded
