Key Responsibilities:-

  • Manage the day-to-day construction of multiple residential homes.
  • Oversee homes from pre-construction through final completion and homeowner closing.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trade partners, suppliers, and inspections.
  • Monitor construction schedules and ensure projects remain on track.
  • Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and construction quality.
  • Ensure construction follows approved plans, specifications, building codes, and company standards.
  • Identify construction issues early and coordinate timely solutions.
  • Monitor jobsite safety and ensure subcontractors follow safety requirements.
  • Track materials and coordinate deliveries to avoid construction delays.
  • Review work completed by subcontractors and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
  • Manage punch-list items and coordinate final completion.
  • Coordinate homeowner walkthroughs and assist with preparing homes for closing.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding project status, delays, budget issues, and quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate construction records, schedules, inspections, and project documentation.
  • Work closely with purchasing to resolve material and vendor issues.
  • Assist with warranty-related issues after closing when necessary.
  • Maintain professional relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure homes are completed within established budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.

Qualifications:-

  • 3-7+ years of experience in residential homebuilding or new home construction.
  • Experience managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes, including foundations, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and trade partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong scheduling, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify construction defects and quality issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working primarily in the field and visiting multiple jobsites.
  • Knowledge of residential building codes and construction safety practices.
  • Experience with construction management software preferred.
  • High school diploma required; degree or construction-related certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
