Job Responsibilities
- Hard-Surface Modelling: Mastery of clean topology and edge loops specifically for vehicle exteriors and intricate interiors.
- PBR (Physically Based Rendering): Deep understanding of how light interacts with materials like glass, chrome, and multi-layered automotive paint.
- Lighting & Composition: The ability to "paint with light" to highlight a vehicle's silhouette and form, often using HDRI environments.
- CAD-to-Visual Workflow: Skills in converting complex NURBS data (engineering files) into clean polygonal meshes for visualization.
- Scene Optimization: Balancing visual fidelity with performance, especially for real-time applications like web-based car configurators.
- Post-Production: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or After Effects for retouching final renders and compositing them into real-world backgrounds.
