Resource Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager to join our dynamic global Resource Management (RM) team. The successful candidate will be an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working alongside senior RM team members, this individual will ensure the puzzle pieces come together to build our teams. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and resourcing of the EMEA Medical Writing team within the Medical Capability.
What you’ll do:
- Working alongside Senior RM team members to ensure effective team coordination and resource allocation
- Partnering with Senior Resource Managers in support of overall processes, including department-wide reporting
- Maintaining employee allocation projections in Resource Management system (Workfront), ensuring all details are consistently accurate
- Managing follow-ups/communications, scheduling relevant meetings, creating and sending meeting recaps, etc.
- Reviewing team utilisation on a weekly basis, flagging instances of high or low utilisation to RM team and coordinating follow-ups with managers and team leads as needed
- Reviewing timesheet reports weekly and following up with employees who are missing timesheets and ensuring time is billed to the correct code
- Proactively monitoring freelance allocations and timesheets
- Assisting with updating and maintaining Resource Management process documents
- Reviewing individual billability on a monthly basis and providing appropriate commentary
What you’re like:
- Strong organisation skills, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
- Comfortable with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Positive team player that is willing to pitch in whenever needed
- Curious and proactive nature; eager to learn
- Ready for a fast-paced marketing agency environment with exciting clients and meaningful work in the healthcare/pharma/biotech space
- Willing to come to the London office
What you’ve got:
- 2-4 years of professional experience required
- Data-driven environment or healthcare/pharma industry exposure
- Undergraduate Degree in business, marketing/communications, finance or related discipline
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to quickly pivot and respond to pressing and changing demands
- Strong time management and communication skills; comfortable asking for help in order to overcome roadblocks and challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with fellow resource managers, HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition
