As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will bring strong commercial skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
In this role, you’ll help manage the costs and commercial performance of projects from inception to completion. You’ll work closely with project teams to support delivery within budget, while maintaining quality, compliance, and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects (materials, labour, overheads, and associated costs)
- Review specifications and drawings to identify cost risks, opportunities, and cost-effective solutions
- Support procurement activity, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suppliers/subcontractors
- Monitor budgets and expenditure, comparing actuals to forecasts and providing regular updates
- Contribute to cost control strategies and value engineering to support project outcomes
- Assess and manage variations and change orders, including impacts on cost and programme
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Confident in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial/commercial analysis
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills—able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy
