Warehouse Manager – Tiles Manufacturing Business Alfreton, Derbyshire

W Talent are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager for a leading floor tile manufacturing business located in Alfreton, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing company that operates a 70,000 sq. ft. warehouse supporting high-volume goods in and out operations.

As Warehouse Manager, you\’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, team leadership, dispatch, goods-in, and overall efficiency. This role is key to ensuring smooth logistics across the supply chain and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the warehouse team to meet operational KPIs and service levels.
  • Oversee all goods-in/goods-out processes and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Implement and maintain robust warehouse systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Maintain health & safety compliance and ensure a clean, efficient working environment.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performance culture.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock control, WMS systems, and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and drive team performance.
  • Knowledge of H&S, manual handling, and best warehousing practices.

Salary & Package:

The role offers a competitive salary of 40,000 – 50,000, depending on experience. You\’ll also benefit from Monday to Friday, days-based hours, a strong workplace culture, free on-site parking, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing manufacturing business.
