Warehouse Manager – Ripley, Derbyshire £40,000 – £50,000 + Benefits | Monday to Friday, Days W Talent are partnering with a highly respected manufacturing organisation based in Ripley, Derbyshire, who are looking to recruit a highly regarded, Warehouse Manager. This is a key appointment within a well-established and expanding business, operating a 55,000 sq. ft. warehouse that supports high-volume goods in and out. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and service. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Ripley warehouse operations, including inventory control, team leadership, dispatch, goods-in, and overall efficiency. This role is key to ensuring smooth logistics across the supply chain and maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the warehouse team to meet operational objectives and service standards. Oversee goods-in/goods-out processes and ensure accurate inventory management. Coordinate with production and logistics to achieve timely and efficient order fulfilment. Implement, monitor, and continuously improve warehouse systems and procedures. Maintain health & safety compliance and promote a safe working environment. Drive operational improvements and deliver measurable efficiencies. Key Requirements Proven managerial experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of stock control, WMS systems, and logistics coordination. Effective communicator with strong organisational and leadership abilities. Hands-on and results-driven, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Sound knowledge of health & safety and best practice in warehousing. Salary & Package The role offers a competitive salary in the range of £40,000 – £50,000, dependent on background managerial experience, and is on a Monday to Friday, days-only working pattern.
