As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will support the Financial Advisers and wider Financial Services team by providing high-quality technical and administrative support throughout the financial planning process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial planning support or paraplanning who is looking to further develop their technical knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will play an important role in ensuring client recommendations are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support Financial Advisers with the preparation of client recommendations
- Conduct research and analysis to help identify suitable financial planning solutions
- Prepare suitability reports and client presentation documentation
- Complete pension, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Income Tax calculations
- Obtain provider illustrations, application forms and supporting documentation
- Monitor new business cases through to completion
- Liaise with clients and providers throughout the advice process
- Produce pre-meeting analysis and post-review documentation
- Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office and internal systems
- Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures
- Provide day-to-day support to advisers and the wider Financial Services team
- Previous experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or Financial Services environment
- Experience in a Financial Planning Support, Financial Planning Analyst, Paraplanning or Senior Financial Services Administration role
- Part or fully Diploma qualified (Level 4) or actively working towards the qualification
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and financial planning processes
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, collaborative and committed to delivering an excellent client experience
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
